Shear Pin
Product Description:
3/8" stainless steel shear pin. These pins are usually installed in the joint of the spray arch on touchless rollover automatics. They provide a breakaway mechanism so that the arch will not cause serious damage to a customers vehicle. Also known as a shear bolt.
Technical Note: When replacing a shear pin you should always check to make sure that the groove in the center of the pin lines up with the groove on the pin that you are replacing. If they do not match, the shear pin can not be used. Failure to preform this check may cause extensive damage to the machine if there is an impact to the arch.
